The Full Monty Package with Tanks a Lot

During the hustle and bustle of registration rides are constantly given using Hagglund's and Snow bikes to entrants and spectators. After a role call and safety briefing camouflaged suits and helmets are issued to six separate teams. Each team will compete in 6 activities normally 432 Armoured personal carrier, Lance missile carrier, 18th Century flintlock and mortar firing, SAS woodland patrol, The Big Russian Turboed Grozdilkas, Hagglund Bv206, Firearms and Terrorism lecture and Clay pigeon shooting.

A mid day lunch will be served and refreshments available all day inclusive. The man or normally woman (unfortunate lads) who wins best driver, will have the chance of her team and spectators riding on the Chieftain during her car crush finale. Days are held on selected Saturday's throughout the year and run from 9:00 to 18:30 depending on daylight hours. Spectators are welcome, a £30.00 charge covers food throughout the day and rides. These need to be booked at least 5 days from the event, but can be paid for on the day.

Followed buy a chill in the Armoury while you get your breath back and take some Charlie’s angels pictures posing with the machine Guns.

Then the best bit blast over a clean complete family Saloon in 56 tons of Chieftain Main Battle Tank room for a couple of spectators to ride on the tank or maybe put your mother in law in the boot of the car, your choice it’s your dream come true. It has been known for you to add a few drivers at £100 per head and turn it in to a mini competition the best driver winning the crush.

You’re also welcome to prod and hinder the lads in the workshops while having a look at some of our special tanks, don’t mention the pink one

Tank Driver Training at Tanks a Lot

Driving a tank is not as difficult as you think. However the very nature of such vehicles means proper training is essential. Our courses are thorough and involve one to one tuition at our site or on your premises - in your vehicle or one of ours.

TANKS-A- LOT can provide professional tuition by ex Mod Instructors for would be tank drivers. From basic "Off Highway" training to the DSA "H"License standard which allows you to drive an appropriately registered and licensed tracked vehicle on the public highway.

We regularly train individuals who have bought tanks as collectors items and can arrange bespoke courses for a wide variety of customer requirements including training specialist hauliers who have to load and unload tanks in often awkward places.
